OMG, yarn. It is my new obsession. Specifically either bamboo yarn or 100% merino superwash wool. I have my first hank of sock yarn that I am enjoying tremendously. The only thing is that it seems cheaper to buy a sweater already made then it would be to buy yarn and make said sweater yourself. So... here is The Where to Find Good Yarn on the Cheap Thread.

I have time to volunteer, lots of techy skills, and I want to help the fandom community. I need a project. What does fandom need most right now?

1. An archive for small fandoms?
2. An archive for emerging fandoms?
3. Tagging stories at http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver ? If so what fandoms/couples/themes?
4. Creating a home for no longer maintained or abandoned archives?
5. Someone to save LJ content.
6. Other, I will explain in the comments.

2. Hulu.com is so awesome. (Yes, I knew this before.) They have the last episodes of Standoff that fox.com never had! Whee! Matt/Emily forever!

My roommate keeps krinkling plastic bags and talking to me while I'm trying to watch TV! Grrrrr

Also, someone had my last CPK pizza from the freezer. This should not make me want to cry!

I added tags to bundles and got rid of a lot of the mis-spelled or duplicate tags. Wow, was it messy. There are good and bad things about the new del.icio.us, which I may comment on at a later time. However, the good thing is it started counting my bookmarks again (the old one stopped at 10,000). I have 15,885 bookmarks. Can you believe it? Yay!

I'm participating in [Unknown LJ tag] as a first reader.

My therapist thinks a therapy group would help me so I am in the process of trying to get into one.

Work was really easy on Saturday after a really hard week.

I took two naps today which I'm really happy about given how much I haven't been sleeping.

Finished all 8 seasons of CSI last week and I just saw season 5 of MI-5 (aka Spooks). Fool's Gold, 27 Dresses, and The Bucket List were okay.

What would people like to see more tags of? What have people seen recently that's good?

If anyone is around that has time to talk, I am up and interested in making new friends. We can talk about whatever.

So, I started searching for Matt/Danny fic on delicious and I came across Four Ways Matt Didn't Tell Harriet and One Way He Did. And I'm reading it and it's pretty good and I get to a part (laminated card) and I'm like wait a minute, that's my idea, who is this writer and copycatting is flattery, but who is this person. And you know what? It was ME! LOL I wrote the story. And it doesn't suck. It's earth shattering for me because I'm one of those people who knows beyond a reasonable doubt that their work sucks. So it was really awesome to read something and wonder where in me it must have come from.

*still laughing at myself*

The most notable thing about Saturday was the trip to the emergency room. All is fine, just a little leftover discomfort. My ovaries decide to hate me every once in awhile. It was a good reminder to listen to my body a little bit more.

Went to the grocery store yesterday. I know have food in the apartment as if I actually live here instead of at work.

Things I could potentially do today:

Request: Gil/Nick CSI fanfiction. It appears that some of the archives have disappeared. Any recommendations on great fic and where to find it would be much appreciated.

Hi. I am hearby resolving to write a little every day even if it is completely non-coherent.

• Took 206_bones off my friends list because I couldn't take it anymore.
  
• I am trying to get into CSI fandom (one DVD into season 2). I specifically was expecting to find Gil/Nick, but I will take any recommendations for any pairings what so ever. Where are the amazing fics that everyone in the fandom reads? The only thing I am a little hesitant on is Gil/Sara, but I am sure if I read the right thing I could be convinced. Dear friends, please point me in the right direction.
